Marisa Berenson, 1970

Marisa Berenson, was related on her mother’s side to the great couturier Schiaparelli and through her father to the distinguished art historian Bernard Berenson. A celebrated fashion model, Marisa was known as “the queen of the scene,” and a Vogue favorite. The photograph is undated but is believed to have been taken in 1970. Marisa would soon leave modeling behind and go on to appear in many films, including Death in Venice (1971), Cabaret (1972), and Barry Lyndon (1975).
