Singers Sam Moore and Dave Prater, of the soul duo Sam and Dave, singing at the 'Soul Together' concert at Madison Square Garden, New York City in June 28, 1968. The concert, called “Soul Together” and sponsored in part by Atlantic Records, gathered the great soul artists of the time together for one concert, with the entire proceeds going to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Fund. Vogue called the Sam & Dave Horn Section a “dazzling performance of brass, beat, soul, and dance”.
