Fashion designer and aristocrat Hubert de Givenchy, technically Count Hubert James Marcel Taffin de Givenchy, prepares his models for an upcoming show, October 30, 1967. After designing for Pierre Balmain, Christian Dior, and the avant-garde designer Elsa Schiaparelli, he created his own fashion house in 1952 and would go on to become one of the most famous, and most copied, couturier in history.
