Elliott Gould, photographed here on December 6, 1967 by Jack Robinson for a Vogue feature. A Brooklyn-born actor who had reached Hollywood via Broadway, during the run of the musical I Can Get It for You Wholesale (1962), Gould met the young Barbra Streisand, whom he was to marry in 1963 and divorce in 1971. When this photograph was taken, Gould had just appeared on Broadway in the short run of Jules Feiffer’s black comedy Little Murders.
