Journalist and radio commentator Drew Pearson is pictured here from August, 1969. He was well known for his syndicated column "Washington Merry-Go-Round" which he began in 1932. In 1967, Pearson was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize. In September 1969, soon after this photograph was taken, Pearson died.
