Diana Ross of The Supremes is photographed here in New York's Grand Central Terminal for a "Vogue's Own Boutique" feature of September 15, 1968. The star of The Supremes is shown "cutting up . . . In Saint Laurent chiffon". The Supremes had been Motown's biggest hitmakers and the most successful girl group of the 1960s. Just over a year after this photograph was taken, Ross would launch her solo career.
