This picture was taken at a January, 1967 party celebrating their 25th anniversary of lyricist Betty Comden and her husband Steve Kyle. Writers and Lyricists Betty Comden and her partner Adolph Green were first introduced to Broadway with "On The Town" in 1944 and went on to write lyrics for such hits as "Bells Are Ringing", "Wonderful Town" and "Applause". They also wrote the screenplay to the movie "Singin' in the Rain". Here Adolph Green is photographed with his wife Phyllis Newman.
